terms of service
effective October 5, 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and perpspec ("we") for your use of perpspec (the website at perpspec.com and its API). By using perpspec or creating an account you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
what perpspec is
perpspec collects public information from cryptocurrency exchanges (market parameters, funding rates, fees, rule documents) and presents it, including a history of changes, cost estimates and summaries.
not financial advice
Nothing on perpspec is investment, financial, legal or tax advice, or a recommendation to trade. Data can be late, incomplete or wrong, and exchanges can change their rules at any time. Always check the exchange's own documentation before acting. You are solely responsible for your trading decisions and their results.
accounts and api keys
You need to be at least 18. Keep your API key secret; you are responsible for activity under your key. Generate a new key from your account page if one is exposed. One person or organisation per account.
acceptable use
Use the API within its rate limits. Do not attempt to break or overload the service, get around rate limits or payment, or access other users' data. You may use perpspec data in your own trading, research and tools, and quote it with attribution to perpspec; do not resell or republish the data feed as a substitute for perpspec without our written permission.
pro subscription
Pro costs $9.99 per month (plus any applicable tax), billed in advance through Stripe, and renews automatically each month until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from your account page; Pro then stays active until the end of the period you paid for. Payments are not refunded for partial months, except where the law requires otherwise. If a payment fails, Pro stays active while Stripe retries and ends if payment cannot be collected. We will give at least 30 days' notice before changing the price for existing subscribers.
free tier
The free tier has lower rate limits and a delayed changelog. We may change or end free features at any time.
availability and changes
We aim to keep perpspec running but do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free, and we may change, add or remove features. We may suspend accounts that break these terms.
third-party data
Exchange data and documents belong to their respective owners. Links to exchanges and other sites are for convenience; we are not responsible for their content.
disclaimer and liability
perpspec is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, including trading losses or lost profits, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim (or $50 if you paid nothing). Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection laws that cannot be excluded.
ending your account
You can stop using perpspec and ask us to delete your account at any time by emailing support@perpspec.com. Cancel any Pro subscription first from your account page.
changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We will change the date above and, for significant changes, tell account holders by email. Continuing to use perpspec after the change means you accept the new terms.
